Day 76 (September 28, 2008)

Dave highlighted flames. Ben Snyder came over and Snyder Performance stickers were stuck to car. Underhood filler panels were installed. Hood was attached.

Day 77 (September 29, 2008)

Battery was charged. Fuel pressure was rechecked. Car was cleaned. Sections were cut out of front fenders. Car was tied down to trailer and tools were loaded up.

This car was built for the $2008 Grassroots Motorsports Challenge.  The basic rules of this race are to build a car for $2008.  The car must compete in an auto-cross, drag race and a concour.  See the rules on the Grassroots Motorsports web site.  The event was held at the Gainsville Dragway in Florida on October 3-4, 2008. We have $1,986.32 in the Bug.
